The summer kicked off with a girls trip to Europe. My mom and I had a blast traveling between London, Wales and Ireland. We became pros at handling airport chaos, surviving 3 days with no luggage (who knew hotel shampoo could wash undies so well), and making less than 5 star hotels managable. Aside from all the crazy European stuff we had an awesome time. We had a chance to see all of the London attractions, watch Wicked, travel through lots of different castles, and most importantly I got to spend some time with my mom.

This hottie playing the guitar in Dublin, Ireland is the closest thing my mom and I will get to our "P.S. I Love You" fantasy.
After the trip with my mom I spent about a month at home. During this time we celebrated the 4th of July with our friends the Walker's and Dave did an awesome job running in the Moonlight Chase.
At the end of July I flew to Utah and spent 6 weeks visiting family. While I was there we stayed very busy. My mom threw me an awesome baby shower and baby Tessa got lots of great gifts, my grandma treated all the girls with a trip to St. George where we watched Les Misrable, we weaned calves, I had a super fun birthday, and we got rained out at the Labor day parade.
To end the summer Dave and I went to California to find a house. We spent 4 long days going through lots of houses and finally found one to make an offer on. After all of that house hunting we decided to take some time off and spend a day in SanFrancisco. We had lots of fun at Fisherman's Warf and Dave found a crab on the beach. Looking back we had a super fun summer and it helped us pass the time until the baby arrives

So glad you posted! I've been wondering how you've been. Look at your cute little belly:) Your summer sounded awesome and full of fun. You'll be so happy that you were able to do all of that especially when the baby comes. When I saw that picture of the Warf my heart sank...we LOVE San Fran! Dave lived just south of there until he was 18 in Danville by Walnut Creek. You guys are going to love it there! Good luck with getting that house. So many fun things to look forward to!:)Tell Dave we said Hi too!
What a fun summer! Can't believe it's almost over! I'm glad I got to see you a little bit while you were in Utah. We'll have to come and visit in Cal. As far as the picture I put on my blog your asking about.....it's a secret....ha ha. The eaiest way to explain it is a website called picnik.com. Don't sign up for anything with you e-mail just start picniking and upload your photo and edit it. Play with the feature and you'll see where you can put text and stuff in.
Lindsy--your belly is cute! I feel so bad I missed your shower when you were here. Shawn had me roped into helping with some duck banquet thing all day that day in Nephi. I am going to miss you guys. and my boys are going to too. I cant believe your leaving me here alone. Just kidding. I am sad I dont get to love that little girl. oh how fun would pink and purple be!! YUCK why did you post the pic with me in it. well we have enjoyed feeling like we had somebody that was around that we knew so hopefully we meet again in some town. HOPEFULLY UTAH!!
